1. Sitting down on drivers seat.

2. With strap side on top place 5417 holster on your lap with zipper closed and wide opening facing towards you.

3. Take the long end of the strap around steering column and loop strap into inside location of white buckle.

4. Take strap and go back around steering column looping into black buckle.

5. Pull strap until the 5417 holster makes contact with bottom of the steering column.

6. Position the 5417 holster at a right angle for right handed or at a left angle for left handed persons.

7. Re-loop strap back into black buckle to lock and secure the 5417 holster in place.  Tighten as needed and cut off excess strap.

8. All vehicle steering columns are different.  experiment with the tightening and position of the 5417 holster for optimal usage.
